On Friday, August 30th of this year (2024), I was fortunate enough to find myself setting up shop at a festival in Hannibal, Missouri for their annual Steampunk Festival. The booth next to me, "The Wicked Ghost" (such a cool name in itself) proved to be one of the most interesting and personable vendors at this event.

          Akamu, the proprietor of this interesting traveling shop, introduced himself and showed me the newest piece he was working on. A one-of-a-kind Norse-themed pendulum-necklace featuring Finrir. Over the next few hours I observed his careful construction of the piece which included meticulous detail down to the Merlinite and sword. Each part chosen carefully and with deep consideration to not just the overall appeal of this handcrafted masterpiece, but to the deeper meaning that will draw you into the piece and allow a connection on a spiritual level. This is crucial once you consider that the piece is not just bold decorative jewelry, but a practical tool in supernatural communication with the unknown!

 

          Finally, early the following morning, as we both opened our little traveling shops for business, Akamu presented to me the finished piece complete with an iron chain that is much much stronger than appears. I was instantly drawn to the necklace/pendulum and knew that the weekend would not end without me purchasing it. A fair price and a beautiful one-of-a-kind masterpiece that I will treasure for life. I'm sure that as a Witch of over forty years, this piece will accompany me to many paranormal investigations, ceremony and festival events in the years to come.
